DMCA Notice Procedure

At pdfuserguide.com, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to helping keep our online environment free of infringing content. To this end, we adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DCMA) and provide a clear, direct avenue for copyright owners to report alleged copyright infringement. If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced on our site without authorization, you may submit a DMCA notice to initiate the review and removal process.

Submitting a DMCA Notice

To file a DMCA notice with pdfuserguide.com, please ensure your notice is properly formatted and includes the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works at that site.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please send your DMCA notice via email to dmca@pdfuserguide.com. Your notice will be reviewed by our team and, if deemed valid, the infringing content will be removed from our site.

Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a properly submitted DMCA notice, pdfuserguide.com will undertake the following actions:

  • Review the DMCA notice to confirm it contains all information required by the DMCA.
  • Remove or disable access to the material that is alleged to be infringing.
  • Make a good faith attempt to contact the owner of the content through the information provided in the DMCA notice, to notify them that the material has been removed or access to it has been disabled.

Counter-Notices

If you are a content owner and believe your content has been removed or access disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notice. Like the DMCA notice, a counter-notice must be in writing and include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Counter-notices should also be sent to our email address: dmca@pdfuserguide.com. Upon receipt of a counter-notice, pdfuserguide.com will review it and may restore the content if it is determined that the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.

We aim to resolve all DMCA-related matters as swiftly and efficiently as possible, always keeping the rights and concerns of both copyright owners and content users in mind.
